How long is the wedding or elopement shoot?

The civil ceremony at the city hall is really short so keep 1 hour for the ceremony and 1 hour for post wedding shoot at the same location. If you want to add an outdoor location, book 3 – 4 hour session at least.

When should I take an appointment at City hall?

Weekdays Monday - Wednesday after 2.30 pm as it is lot less busy than other days of the week.

What should I wear for the destination wedding at Shoot?

• For indoor wedding you can opt for a ball gown, bridal dress with a long detachable train or a lace adorned outfit. Go as short or as long as you want.
• Keep tieks in your bag if you don’t like the idea of walking in heels.
• For beach side location – Keep the same dress on and carry a jacket. Just don’t underestimate the weather as San Francisco is always windy.

When will I get my photos?

Generally 7 – 10 days from the 3 – 4 hour wedding / engagement session but if it’s a big wedding it can vary from 4 – 6 weeks.

Post- Wedding Shoot at Baker Beach

Soon after the ceremony and indoor portrait shoot, you can always consider heading to another location. This gorgeous couple really wanted San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge as a backdrop. So we selected Baker Beach as it offers the perfect angle to capture the bridge and the beach in the background for your engagement / destination wedding photoshoot.

What to consider while choosing a beach location in San Francisco?

• Timing is crucial. Besides considering the golden hour shoot, I highly recommend a weekday to avoid large crowds. Bring a friend or two along as it deters the thugs from approaching you.
• Take an Uber and get off at the first parking lot when you are driving from the North side of Golden gate.
• Must carry flats.
• Carry a snack and a bottle of water.
• Bring a jacket.

What to avoid?

Don’t bring a lot of dresses or an extra outfit as the public restrooms are not very hygienic and usually there is a queue. It also saves time and you can focus on your photo session.
