Lava Lava restaurant (if you like the idea of soaking your feet in beach sand and sipping mai tai’s).

Relaxing at your hotel pool, sunrise at Kapaa, Kealia, Lydgate, Kauai beach resort is beyond beautiful. Just enjoy walking around the Kapaa downtown area and savoring the views! Kayaking the Wailua river, Snorkelling at Lydgate as it has a protected area for little kids as well.

Top travel tip for staying in Kapaa?

You don’t need the car if you intend to stay in this region only. There are local buses to get to different parts of the island, though it may have limited access but sometimes a little planning can save your $$$$ considering there is shortage of rental cars on the island.

Farmers market at coconut market place deserves your attention if you plan to stay in a condo nearby and cook a feast.
