Lifestyle family photo shoots of mommy and me are all about keeping it fluid and engaging. Young kids are curious and uber excited to hold the camera, so I started off with taking portraits of mommy in this shoot. I had the little one as my assistant and Viola!

I don't think there is any thumb rule to photograph the beautiful relationship of mother and daughter. Neither you need a commercial day like Mother's day to make it special. There is no perfect time either so whenever you can, you must plan a dedicated photo shoot to celebrate the purest bond between mother and kids.

We started off withwalking around scouting the spots within the apartment complex where I live as we were extremely tight on time. With just under an hour on hand and restricted backdrop, the focus was on capturing and having fun. The secret to holiday greeting card  is nothing but a moment well captured. Hoping these Mommy and me pictures makes it to your mantel.

This shoot wasn't intended to have a holiday card portraits but after having some cool pictures captured, I would seriously want Mom Megha and her daughter to have a few printed. My recommendations for printing pictures is via Shutterfly - it's super easy and cost effective.
